Dealmap, a regular deal aggregator start-up, has been acquired by Search engines for an undisclosed sum; but certainly less than the $6 billion dollars Search engines provided for Groupon last year. The purchase provides a direction ahead for Search engines to improve pc and cellular location-based search.

Dealmap, which was established in May of 2010, statements to have 2 thousand customers and 85 thousand guests who check out its associate system each 30 days. Dailymap faucets a complete of 450 resources which are making available over 400,000 regional daily offers a day.

For the time being, Search engines will respect the current associate offers that are in place with over 50 submission associates, such as Local.com, MerchantCircle, T-Mobile, Microsoft’s Google.
